As the premiere organization uniquely devoted to military-related human resources, the Military Human Resource Foundation (MHRF) offers grants that support the foundation’s goal of improving the knowledge and practice of military-related human resources.

About Grants

The foundation offers one $250 grant per quarter.  The grant award includes $250, a plaque, and a press announcement recognizing the grant award.  Grants may be made to organizations or to individuals.

The purpose of the award is to support improvements to the knowledge and practice of military-related human resources.  As such, the scope of the award is broad-based.

Topics may include conventionally expected areas such as pay, compensation, hiring, recruiting, transition, career development or support, professional development, training and the like, but also less conventional support including mental health, support to military family members, support to veterans, fitness/wellness, sexual harassment prevention, equal opportunity, decadent affairs/mortuary, legal support, and other areas.

Who is Eligible

Each grant is a one-time award.  However, previous applicants and past grant recipients are eligible to re-apply.

Employees or board members of the Military Human Resource Foundation and members of their immediate family are not eligible to apply for Military Human Resource Foundation grants, awards or grants.
